ITEM: ONE original table lamp by EMMA BRIDGEWATER in the much beloved pink SAMPLER pattern. I have pictured the lamp with the shade to give you an idea of what the lamp will look like complete. RARE as Emma Bridgewater have stopped making lamp bases and this has come from my own personal collection – since moving, I have a pale green kitchen so this really does not fit in at all. CONDITION: Offered very good nearing excellent pre-owned condition with very little for me to grumble over. In FULL working order as can be seen in the pictures. No chips, cracks and craze to the body. The bum is a bit grubby and the felt disc sits a bt offside, affects nil to the lamps function and can’t be seen when it is in use. There is a faint fettle mark – made at the time of manufacturing from the mould used, again not detrimental nor preventative for the lamps usage, I have pictured in the LAST photo BELOW. And finally for full accuracy, some of the fabric that covers the cord is worn – just the fabric and NOT the electric wires, please see below pictures. Emma Bridgewater is famed for her hand made/sponged pottery, made in Stoke on Trent – this large lamp is iconic and most sought after. As with all hand made items, no 2 pieces will ever be the same, there will be small quirks to the hand applied paint and there may be a speck or so of kiln dust to the lamp. This is not an indication of faults, this lamp is a FIRST quality thus any such kiln speck and/or pin pricks passed inspections. Please study the pictures carefully, the lamp in the pictures is the one you will get and of course should you require more, just ping me a message and I will send some over. The mass proportion of what I sell are “one offs” and will almost always have had been pre-owned and homed/used elsewhere; thus by their very nature will exhibit inconspicuous signs to indicate their previous life.
