This listing is for a Vintage Mid Century Modern Empoli Italian Art Glass “Gurgle” Shape Large 33 Tall Electric Table Lamp. It is Green in color and has a vertical optic pattern. Round chrome metal base. I do Not have a shade for it. It is in excellent vintage condition overall. No chips or cracks. It looks to be all original. It has a 3-Way Switch that works great. Some wear / discolored spots to chrome base (photos 11 and 12). Usual aged patina to brass socket and harp. Again, I do Not have a shade for this lamp. Please view photos carefully as they are my main description. It is big and heavy weighing 7 lbs before packing and will be securely packaged and double boxed. UPS is usually the cheapest for big and heavy packages. It measures 33″ tall to top of harp finial, 24 1/4″ tall to top of socket, and has a 6 1/8 diameter round metal base. Table Lamp A Very Large Vintage Middle Eastern Hammered Copper Ewer Ethnic Lamp
This is a Very Large & Impressive Ethnic Copper Table Lamp made from an Old Middle Eastern Copper Ewer. The lamp has a round tapering shape with a heavy brass handle, brass detailing and lots of hammering marks. The lamp is made from a large early 20th Century Copper water jug, the top is fixed and holds the brass BC lamp holder. The welds on the lamp are picked out in a silver colouring which provides extra detail to the lamp. The lamp has a flared stepped base and a heavy brass ring feature at the base. The body of the lamp has some interesting stamped makers marks. There are various signs of manufacture, hammering, jointing, welding & finishing marks which add to the Ethnic feel of this large lamp. Finish is polished copper with the various details also polished and adding great contrast. Please see my images for the best description. Copper container dates to the early 20th century and lamp age is Age late 20th century Overall height is 57 cm x Lower Base Diameter of 16 cm. Condition is good, it has a few very small age and use marks. A few small light imperfections from manufacture but these don’t really notice and blend well into the ethnic finish of the lamp.
